Booking your reservation for Muir Woods is easy and can be done directly on our website, www.gomuirwoods.com. Follow these steps to secure your visit:
Step 1: Visit www.gomuirwoods.com
- Click on the big orange button that says "Click Here to Reserve Now" to begin.
Step 2: Choose Your Desired Date
- Use the calendar tool to select the date you plan to visit.
- Available dates will be highlighted. If your preferred date is not selectable, it may be sold out or unavailable.
Step 3: Select Your Reservation Type
Decide if you’re parking a standard, medium, or oversized vehicle, or if you’re booking a shuttle ride.
- For parking, choose the appropriate vehicle size and your preferred time slot.
- For shuttle, select your pickup location and travel time.
If your preferred time is not selectable it may be sold out or unavailable.
Step 4: Purchase Park Entrance Fees (Optional)
After you select your reservation time you will have an opportunity to pre-purchase park admission. Follow the prompts to determine if you have or plan to purchase a park pass. All park passes are sold at the Muir Woods visitors center. Do Not purchase park admission if you have or plan to purchase a park pass.
Step 5: Complete Payment
Review your reservation details, then proceed to checkout to pay. You do not need to create or sign into an account. Users can checkout as a guest and enter the valid email of their choice. Accepted payment methods include major credit/debit cards.
Step 6: Receive Your Confirmation
Once your payment is processed, you’ll receive a confirmation email with your reservation details, including a scannable voucher.
- Tip: Print or download your voucher before heading to Muir Woods, as there is no cell service at the park.
Important Notes
- Reservations are required for both parking and shuttle access.
- Reservations often sell out quickly, especially during peak seasons. Book as early as possible to secure your spot.
