Parking Information

Visitors arriving by vehicle must have a reservation in advance. Parking reservations will not be sold onsite in the parking areas. Parking reservations are sold by vehicle size: standard, medium, and large. You are responsible for knowing the length of your vehicle and reserving the appropriate parking type. Visitors arriving in a vehicle that does not correspond with their reservation type may be turned away. The parking areas are walking distance from the entrance to Muir Woods. Your reservation guarantees you a parking space in one of these areas. When you arrive at Muir Woods, a parking ambassador will direct you to a parking area with available parking. There is no shuttle from parking areas to the park entrance, so visitors booking a parking reservation do not need a shuttle reservation.
